What Are The Classifications Of Magnetic Pumps?

Jun 19, 2024

1. Classification by pump type:
Magnetic centrifugal pump: suitable for conveying clean liquids, with a wide flow range, commonly used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Suitable for low-viscosity, solid-free liquids.
Magnetic vortex pump: suitable for conveying high-pressure, low-flow liquids. Commonly used in boiler feed water, oil and gas transportation and other occasions requiring high pressure.
Magnetic gear pump: suitable for conveying high-viscosity liquids, such as oils, resins, etc. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, food processing and other industries.
2. Classification by drive mode
Electric magnetic pump: driven by a motor and driven by magnetic coupling. Commonly used in industrial automation control systems.
Pneumatic magnetic pump: driven by a pneumatic device, suitable for explosion-proof occasions. Suitable for explosion-proof environments such as coal mines, oil fields, etc.
3. Classification by material
Stainless steel magnetic pump: has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for conveying corrosive liquids. Commonly used in industries such as chemical and pharmaceutical industries that require corrosion resistance.
Plastic magnetic pump: light weight, good corrosion resistance, and low cost. Suitable for conveying various acid and alkali liquids, widely used in environmental protection, water treatment and other industries.
4. Classification by structure
Single-stage magnetic pump: has only one impeller, simple structure, easy maintenance. Commonly used in ordinary liquid transportation occasions.
Multi-stage magnetic pump: has multiple impellers, can provide higher head and pressure. Suitable for transportation occasions requiring high head and high pressure, such as high-rise building water supply system.
5. Classification by function
Self-priming magnetic pump: has self-priming function, can automatically exhaust, easy to start. Commonly used to transport liquids that require self-priming function, such as marine water supply system.
Ordinary magnetic pumps do not have self-priming function and need to be pre-primed to start. Suitable for general liquid transportation, where self-priming function is not required.
